Terms & Conditions and Redemption Instructions

*1. General
These terms and conditions apply to H&M Gift Cards purchased via our business partner SVS Canada Limited in any of our H&M stores or on hm.com (“H&M Gift Card” or “H&M e-Gift Card”, jointly “H&M Gift Cards”) and to our H&M Merchandise Cards (“H&M Merchandise Card” or “H&M e-Merchandise Card” jointly “H&M Merchandise Cards”). By purchasing H&M Gift Card, or using the H&M Merchandise Cards, you accept these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). H&M reserves the right to interpret, modify, or terminate the Terms and Conditions without notice. The most recent Terms and Conditions will always be posted at hm.com.

H&M Gift Cards and H&M Merchandise Cards may be used in H&M stores and online on hm.com in the country where the H&M Gift Cards was bought or where the H&M Merchandise Card was issued. You can use the H&M Gift Cards and H&M Merchandise Cards to pay for the full value or part of the value of your selected item(s). You must present an H&M e-Gift card e-mail with barcode either printed or on your mobile device to redeem in-store. No reproductions or entries from e-Gift card wallets will be accepted. If your purchase online is not completely covered by H&M Gift Cards or H&M Merchandise Cards you can use an additional payment method to complete the purchase. Please read more in the Payment section at hm.com. The receipt will always show the current balance of the H&M Gift Cards and H&M Merchandise cards used in the transaction. In addition, you can always check your current balance online at hm.com, in an H&M store or by contacting customer service (see below).

2. Payment
If you order your H&M Gift Cards online your order and payment will be processed and dispatched by SVS Canada Limited, however your credit/debit card statement will show H&M.com Gift Card Purchase.

SVS only accepts credit cards as payment for H&M Gift Cards. You need to be 18 years, in order to pay with a credit card.

3. Delivery
You will receive the H&M Gift Card within 8-12 days from date of order. H&M will not be liable for any failure or delay in delivery.

You are obligated to provide a correct address for delivery of the H&M Gift Card. If you order a H&M e-Gift Card you are obligated to provide a correct email address for delivery. If the address you have provided cannot be confirmed H&M reserves the right to withhold the delivery of the H&M Gift Card.

4. Validity
Each purchase of H&M Gift Cards is limited to a maximum value of CAD 400. The minimum value for H&M Gift Cards is CAD 25. You can increase the balance of your physical H&M Gift Card by purchase of additional credit in any H&M store in the country where the card was bought.

The H&M Gift Cards can be used until the balance of the card is zero. If the balance of the card is zero for three months, the H&M Gift Card is invalid and cannot be activated or used again.

The H&M Merchandise Cards can be used until the balance of the card is zero. If the balance of the card reaches zero, the H&M Merchandise Card is invalid and cannot be activated or used again.

5. Return
If you paid for your order with two different payment methods, you’ll receive a refund on your second payment method first. For example, if you paid for your order using a gift card and credit card, we will first refund you on the credit card. If the value of articles you returned exceed the amount paid with the credit card, the rest will be refunded in the form of an e-gift card.  The H&M e-Merchandise Card will be sent to you by email after the return is complete. You are obligated to provide a correct email address for delivery of the H&M e-Merchandise Card. If the email address you have provided cannot be confirmed H&M reserves the right to withhold the delivery of the H&M e-Merchandise Card.

H&M Gift Cards or H&M Merchandise Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Limited Liability
H&M cannot be held liable for H&M Gift Cards or H&M Merchandise Cards once activated, which subsequently are lost, stolen, inactivated or damaged. Treat your H&M Gift Cards and H&M Merchandise Cards as cash.

7. Privacy Policy
H & M Hennes & Mauritz GBC AB, is acting as the party responsible for all personal data that you provide H&M with. H&M therefore has a Privacy Policy outlining how your personal data will be processed and protected. You will find our Privacy Policy in full here.

Redemption Instructions

• Where can it be used? Your gift card can be used in the country it was purchased — online or in store.
• You can use your H&M Gift Card to make full, or partial payments. 
• The amount applied towards your purchase will be deducted from your gift card and any remaining balance will be displayed on your receipt.
• To reload your physical gift card or eGift, visit any H&M store.

**Terms & Conditions

This eGiftCard is issued by and represents an obligation of Old Navy (Canada) Inc. and Gap (Canada), Inc. The eGiftCard may be redeemed for merchandise at any Gap brand, Old Navy, Banana Republic, or Athleta location, including Outlet and Factory stores. The eGiftCard may also be redeemed online for merchandise at gapcanada.ca, oldnavy.ca and bananarepublic.ca. If you return merchandise originally purchased with an eGiftCard, any refund will be issued in the form of a plastic gift card issued by Old Navy (Canada) Inc. or Gap (Canada), Inc.  which may be used at any of these stores or websites. Any merchandise purchased with an eGiftCard is subject to the applicable store or online return policies. Purchases will be deducted from the amount of this eGiftCard until the value reaches zero. This eGiftCard may not be used or redeemed with certain promotional offers and may not be applied as payment on any account. You may not use an eGiftCard to purchase other eGiftCards. Additional value may be added to this eGiftCard at any Gap, Old Navy or Banana Republic store. Not redeemable for cash unless required by law. Restricted to use in the USA, Puerto Rico and Canada. Limit 5 eGiftCards redeemable per online transaction.

Store Associate eGift Cards should be processed in the same manner as regular Gift Card tender. When prompted to swipe the Gift Card, scan the barcode above or key in the eGift Card number shown below the barcode. Follow all other standard policies and procedures for handling Gift Card transactions.
